HIFA members receive patronage
dividends after the close of each calendar year.
Members are rebated the net amount of excess
margins, computed on the ratio of their respective
cubic footage volume. Members can expect their
rebates by September 15th of the next year.
Hawaiian Islands Freight Association, Inc. is a
non-profit cooperative formed November 27, 1963.
Its vision is to provide member companies with
cost-effective freight rates to maintain a
competitive edge in Hawaii by lowering its member’s
overall freight rates.
HIFA’s mission is to assist its
member companies with growing their business.
